PRIVACY POLICY AND COOKIES USAGE POLICY

General provisions

§ 1.


The privacy policy and use of cookies on the website www.protima.eu (hereinafter: 'Policy') has been created and adopted by PROTIMA Sp. z o.o.

Terms used in the Policy mean:

Service: the website www.protima.eu

User: any person using the publicly accessible Service

Owner: PROTIMA Sp. z o.o., ul. Komornicka 10, 62-052 Komorniki, NIP: 7831714674

Cookies: text files sent by the Service and stored on the User's terminal device, which the User uses when browsing the website. Files contain information necessary for the proper functioning of the Service. Cookies usually contain the domain name of the site they come from, their storage time on the terminal device, and a number.


The purpose of the Policy is in particular:

- To provide Users with information regarding the use of Cookies on the Service, as required by law, including Telecommunications Law

- To ensure Users' privacy protection according to standards and requirements specified in applicable laws


The Owner limits the collection and use of information about Users to the necessary minimum required to provide services to them.

To gain full access to content and services offered by the Owner through the Service, it is recommended to accept the rules set out in the Policy.


Applicable legal provisions include:

- Act of July 16, 2004 - Telecommunications Law

- Act of July 18, 2002 on the provision of electronic services

- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), together with Polish data protection laws


Privacy and personal data protection

§ 2.


Data concerning Users are processed by the Owner in accordance with the law. Personal data obtained by the Owner is processed based on the User's consent or another legal basis allowing data processing according to the law, in particular the GDPR.


The Owner takes particular care to protect the interests of persons whose data is processed, ensuring that the data is:

- processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently

- collected for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes and not further processed incompatibly with these purposes

- adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed

- accurate and updated if necessary

- stored in a form that allows identification of the data subject for no longer than necessary

- processed in a way that ensures appropriate data security, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage using appropriate technical or organizational measures


The Owner applies appropriate technical and organizational measures ensuring protection of processed personal data according to the nature, scope, context, and purposes of processing and the risk of violation of rights or freedoms of natural persons.

The Owner strives to systematically modernize applied IT, technical, and organizational data protection measures, in particular by updating IT security measures to protect against viruses, unauthorized access, and other risks associated with IT systems and telecommunications networks.


Every User who has provided data to the Owner has access to their data and may exercise other rights under applicable law, in particular:

- the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data

- the right to information about their personal data

- the right to control the processing of data, including completion, updating, correction, or deletion

- the right to object to processing or to request its restriction

- the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority and to use other legal means to protect their rights


The Owner may process personal data in an automated way, including profiling, according to the GDPR. In such case, the purpose is marketing or personalizing messages sent to Users (including adapting information to the User's needs or expectations). The User may object by sending a message to biuro@protimia.pl.

Persons having access to personal data process it only based on the Owner's authorization or data processing agreement and only on the Owner's instruction.


Cookies

§ 3.


Cookies identify the User, allowing the adaptation of website content to their needs. By remembering preferences, it enables appropriate tailoring of content directed at the User, including ads. The Owner uses Cookies to ensure an appropriate standard of comfort on the Service, and collected data is used internally to optimize operations.


Cookies are used to:

- adapt the Service content to User preferences

- optimize the use of the Service, especially by recognizing the User's terminal device

- generate statistics

- maintain User sessions

- deliver advertising content to the User


Cookies may be stored on the User's terminal device. Collected data is used to monitor and verify how Users use the Service, to improve Service functionality and ensure efficient navigation.


In some cases, independent of the Owner, software installed by the User on the terminal device (e.g., web browser) automatically stores Cookies. Users may change Cookie settings at any time. These settings can be modified to block automatic Cookie storage or to be notified each time a Cookie is stored. Detailed information is available in the software (browser) settings and instructions.


Users can at any time disable or enable Cookie collection via browser settings.

Changing settings constitutes an objection, which may cause difficulties in using the Service in the future. Completely disabling Cookies does not mean that content requiring login cannot be accessed.


Failure to change settings means that data will be stored on the User's terminal device (using the Service will automatically store Cookies).

Stored data on the User's terminal device does not cause configuration changes on the device or installed software.

Information regarding Cookies also applies to other similar technologies used within the Service.
